Lewis, PhD, is a member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, a descendant of the Takelma, Chinook, Molalla, and Santiam Kalapuya peoples of western Oregon. He is the author of Tribal Histories of the Willamette Valley (Ooligan Press, 2023). MAR 2025 | Charleen Stauch, Executive Director of Head Start of Lane County (57 mins) In her current role as Executive Director, she is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of Head Start, including program development, fundraising, and community outreach. Currently, she also serves as the Oregon Head Start State Association President.
JAN 2025 | She has served as the lead Rabbi of Temple Beth Israel: Center for Jewish Life in Eugene, Oregon, since her ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2015. Ruhi Sophia graduated from Smith College in 2007. Rabbi Ruhi Sophia has been active in local, regional, and national interfaith social justice organizing. She leads and composes liturgical music for her community and often leads chants and songs at local rallies and protests.
