League Speaker Series
Educational opportunities for our community and membership.
Leaders in government, education, health care and other specialists speak with League members and the community. Presentations are held monthly in OCT, NOV, JAN, FEB, MAR and APR. The Kickoff luncheon is held in SEP.

Marty Wilde will be our guest speaker for the Fall Kickoff Luncheon.
Doors open at 11am, lunch is served at 11:30am, and the program begins at noon.
The 2026-2027 Speaker Series for the League of Women Voters of Lane County begins with the kickoff event on September 22, 2026. It will be held at 11:30 at the Unitarian Universalist Church at the 13th and Chambers intersection in Eugene. Free parking is available at the venue and on adjacent streets. Lunch will be served for any who are interested. Lunch will be catered by Glenwood Restaurant and will cost $20. Members and guests are welcome to attend whether or not they purchase lunch. Guest speaker Marty Wilde will talk about the healthcare situation in Lane County.

Fill out the appropriate form below and include the names of all the guests that may be joining you along with your payment information as applicable.

Email a message with your reservation, stating your name and the name of your guests. Send your reservation email to: contact@lwvlc.org with a subject line of “Speaker Series”. Plan to pay at the door.
Call the office at 541-343-7917 and leave a message with the same information. Remember to provide the names of any guests you plan to bring, so that we can have a name tag prepared for them. Plan to pay at the door.
