Unit Discussion Groups
Unit discussion groups are the backbone of the League. It is a wonderful way to meet other League members and discuss what is happening in Lane County and the state. Recent topics have included Anti-Semitism, Assessing the Recall Process in Oregon, Child Care Accessibility, Federal Judiciary, Redistricting, and The State of Local Journalism. Units meet monthly from OCT – APR.

Table Talks
At Table Talk, we endeavor to discuss a pertinent topic that is affecting our community. Community leaders and experts are invited to join for a more in depth discussion of a single topic. Table Talk meets monthly from OCT – APR.
Book Group
Currently, we are studying chapters from the book Democracy: A Case Study by Harvard School professor David Moss. Each chapter is a different US Constitution focused topic or historical event. The next topic or date for discussion has not yet been chosen. Check back for more information in the fall.
