The League is an integral part of the community consistently observing the work of our city, and county government. We are following what is happening in our local city and county government.
Observing the Work of Our Governments
The Observer Corps is a group of LWVLC members who pledge to regularly attend government meetings and report back to the Lane County League. We have Observers at the County Commissioners meetings, Eugene and Springfield City Councils, Eugene 4J School District, Springfield School District, and Lane Transit District and many others.
