A proposed federal Budget Reconciliation bill would have devastating impacts on Oregon families:

Medicaid: Up to 20% of Oregonians on Medicaid could lose coverage—the highest projected loss of any state.

SNAP (Food Assistance): Cuts of over $290 billion would jeopardize access to food for nearly 800,000 Oregon families.

Student Loans: The bill would slash $350 billion from student aid by ending subsidized and income-driven repayment plans and limiting Pell Grant access—putting higher education further out of reach and enriching private lenders.
