Educational opportunities for our community and membership.
Leaders in government, education, health care and other specialists speak with League members and the community. Presentations are held monthly in OCT, NOV, JAN, FEB, MAR and APR. The Kickoff luncheon is held in SEP.

Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read speaks at The Shedd Institute

We’re kicking off this election year with a burst of optimism and energy! Join the League of Women Voters of Lane County when we welcome Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read.

Hear from our state’s chief election official about the importance of preserving public trust in voting by keeping the process secure, fair, and accurate.

He’ll talk about the success of voting by mail and how he’s assessing anti-voter policies floated at the federal level.

Fill out the appropriate form below and include the names of all the guests that may be joining you along with your payment information as applicable.

Email a message with your reservation, stating your name and the name of your guests. Send your reservation email to: contact@lwvlc.org with a subject line of “Speaker Series”. Plan to pay at the door.

Call the office at 541-343-7917 and leave a message with the same information. Remember to provide the names of any guests you plan to bring, so that we can have a name tag prepared for them. Plan to pay at the door.
