“Women and the Vote” high school essay contest, co-sponsored by LWVLC and Wordcrafters. All high school students in Lane County are invited to submit an essay on the topic of Women and the Vote. Women Vote skit – February 19, 2020
See a re-enactment of Oregon suffragettes’ attempt to vote in the General election of 1872. To be performed on Feb. 19 at the LWVLC Third Thursday luncheon at noon at Valley River Inn, 1000 Valley River Way, Eugene. Other dates, times and locations to be announced.
