Arrangements for the Fall Luncheon of the League of Women Voters o Lane County have been set. Oregon’s Attorney General John Kroger will speak to us on  Wednesday, September 22, at the Mallard Banquet Hall.

Please note that this is a different date than previously announced.       

AG Kroger was elected to his office in November 2008. Previously, he
had served for many years as a federal criminal prosecutor and
won major cases against mafia killers, drug kingpins, and corrupt
government officials. He also had served as a law professor at Lewis
and Clark Law School in Portland.

Please plan to be at the luncheon and be sure to bring a guest with you. The fall luncheon is a great way
to start the League program yearafter a summer break. Watch future issues of the ARGUS for information
about reservations and prepayment as well as AG Kroger’s presentation.
